We are Andrew and Bryan and we have been involved with the gardening and landscaping industry for many years, the last twenty of which have been running our own business. We trained at Sparsholt College and have worked for a trade and commercial nursery, prior to starting our own business through The Prince’s Trust, funded by B&Q in 1989.
Working for ourselves has given us a good understanding of business priorities both in terms of commercial, and client’s quality expectation. This knowledge of the horticultural industry has also increased our expertise, both in terms of designing and planning suitability covering both hard and soft landscaping.
We have a large selection of machines and general equipment including sit-on and commercial push-mowers; strimmers; leaf blowers; and commercial shredders. These enable us to tackle most client’s requirements from initial landscaping through to “customer satisfaction” and scheduled maintenance programmes. Over the last six years we have also been experienced in planning, sourcing, and establishing onsite automatic irrigation and lighting systems.
We are responsible for the landscaping, planting and maintaining of Business Parks, and also undertake a great deal of work for local Housing Associations. We have our own Health and Safety programmes covering all equipment used, whilst also ensuring that any chemicals relative to the horticultural industry that we use, are covered by the relative legislation.
We hold current spraying licences Part 1 and Part 11, and we are certificated in The Carriage of Waste from Hampshire County Council. We also hold current personal, third party and public liability insurance. Finally we have worked hard to gain membership of the “Buy with Confidence” scheme, which is coordinated by Hampshire County Council to help establish and maintain high standards of trading by businesses within the county of Hampshire.
